I have waist long hair so I need help with some hairdo’s please!?
I have waist long, light brunette hair so I cannot have it out too much. I want some help to figure out how to make a scruffy bun like the one in the picture.

At the back, it’s supposed to look scruffy and kinda messy, but not pieces falling out!

It looks like her hair has individual braids or twists (probably to help with manageability. It looks like a TON of bobby pins were used. I’d do this do when it’s DAMP but not wet, and use a detangler, it’ll really help the process. Then just twist the pieces, start from the outside of the bun and then work your way into the center of the bun. Then tons of hair spray. oh and don’t run…. hope that helps a little I’ll try to find some videos for you because it’s easier to see than to explain

julia roberts short hair
Grow hair longer in 8 months?!?
its 8 months until i am a brdiesmaid.
I have brown curly hair, just below my shoulders but i really want to grow it long like vanessa huddgens, julia roberts and sarah jessica parker.
I think it will look really nice with the dress, the otehr bidesmaids have short straight hair so i just want to look different and stick out but in a good way.
Also the dress is strapless ans shows my back, i will be 15 at the time, and abit uncomfortable showign my back too, so trying to grwo hair long enough to cover my back.
Any advice, do i get it cut? If so how? What do i ask for?
Are there any ways you can make your hair grow, though i know i have 8 months so i have time!

A word of advice…..DO NOT CUT IT! I made that same stupid mistake at almost ur age, based on my stupid so-called friends’ advise, & I totally regret it now!! Lots of people r gonna tell u that cutting it to this or that length will make it grow faster…….total bs!! The only way to cut ur hair is just to trim it’s ends every 2 weeks or so, & that’s it. If u want to cut ur hair, it should be just for the sake of styling it differently, because from my experience, it adds next to nothing to ur hair’s length & health department.
The thing that I found works for me, even now at 30, is undoubtedly esential oils…..try to get any or all of the following oils, even if in small quantaties: olive, castor, rose, bitter almond, coconut, sesame, watercress, garlic, chamomile. Take a spoonful of each oil, mix thoroughly & heat very slightly or place in the sunlight until warm. Apply this mixture to ur hair with gentle massaging for about 10 min. & keep on for at least 2 hours (preferably overnight if u can, covering ur head with a plastic shower cap & protecting ur pillows with a towel), then shower or wash ur hair with ur regular shampoo as usual. This should be repeated every other day, or at least once or twice a week.
Another important tip is to try to get a wooden, not plastic, comb or brush for ur hair & brush it upside down.
Deep conditioning with clay-containing conditioners is also helpful. Best of luck.

Hey! I’m trying to find pictures of the beautiful hairstyle Julia Roberts wore in the movie “My Best Friends Wedding”. It was near the end of the movie, when she’s at the wedding in the lavendar dress.
